About

Dimitris Vaziourakis

From personal struggle to patient care.

As a child, I was often sick. For years I lived with asthma and severe allergies. I was constantly tired, uncomfortable, and unsure when the next flare-up would come. The constant fatigue and the sideways glances when I sneezed my way through daily life, did not exactly set me up for success.

That changed when I discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine. I remember vividly the sensation I had the first time I tried acupuncture for my asthma. I immediately felt my breathing open up which left me with quite an impression. Going to acupuncture for my allergies again, my symptoms improved dramatically after only a few acupuncture sessions and a course of herbs. But, more than that: I felt connected to my body again.

That experience was a turning point. I had found a form of medicine that resonated deeply with my own perception of what medicine is. One that doesn’t just treat symptoms but works with the body’s own intelligence to restore balance. It was both practical and profound. Around the same time, I realized I needed a change in my work life too. I wanted to do something meaningful. Something that helped people. I first trained in massage therapy and then was lucky enough to work in a Chinese medicine clinic. There I witnessed patients with complex conditions from chronic pain to emotional burnout respond positively to treatment. That sparked something in me and led me here today.

My personal experiences, my study and my desire to make my patients feel better became the foundation of Qi Clinic. I’ve been on the other side. Searching, trying, doubting… I understand what it means to feel stuck or unheard in your health journey. And that’s why I take the time to listen, to look at the full picture and to treat every person with care and clarity.

At Qi Clinic, my aim is to help others find the same sense of strength, balance and relief that I once searched for, and found. Now, I will work actively with you to help you find yours.
